I can't wait until Michelle says Mama. I think we're up to about 30,000 Dadas a day now. I try to counter each one with "Mama." She smiles every time as if she's just toying with me. Elena 1st said Dada & Baba...Don't feel bad. Elena 1st said Dada & Baba, neither of which she ever had. They were just nonsensical sounds. The 1st time she said Mama? I wasn't even there!!! I had gone out & she stood at the top of the stairs calling for me!! Now, out of the blue, she's started calling my mom Daddy! Clear as day, "Da-dee" all the time.
